Is there a charge for an initial consultation?

In most cases, there is no fee charged for our initial consultation. We will be happy to discuss this with you when you call to schedule an appointment.

I am thinking of filing for divorce, do I need an attorney?

Divorce is likely one of the most tumultuous events that will ever occur in your life.  To venture into unknown territories without a guide would be foolish.  One needs an attorney to guide one through this process.  Attorney Finn does not just deal with the case, but rather each person and their particular circumstances.

At a minimum, you should have an attorney review your final divorce documents, particularly your Marital Settlement Agreement.  Often people do not recognize the long term legal consequences of a Marital Settlement Agreement.

I need information about child custody laws in the state of Wisconsin. What is your background in assisting with child placement?
